Psychologist, Couples and Family Therapist in Training
As a psychologist, my professional approach has been shaped primarily by systems thinking, which views an individual’s functioning and difficulties as strongly influenced by their relationships—whether within the family, a partnership, or a broader community. For this reason, I strive to understand and approach difficulties not in isolation, but within the context of these interconnected relationships.
I bring this perspective into my individual supportive work as well. Whether the issue concerns personal, relationship, or family difficulties, I consider it essential to create a safe and accepting atmosphere, while jointly exploring relational patterns and underlying dynamics. As a family therapist in training, I provide couples and family counseling together with my psychologist colleague, Kitti Griszbacher, in a co-therapy setting.
As a school psychologist, I have gained experience working with children affected by autism and ADHD, as well as with children facing adjustment, learning, and behavioral difficulties, and with their families. Working together with children of different ages and backgrounds gives me a great deal both professionally and personally, while continuously deepening my openness and sensitivity toward diverse ways of functioning.
In our shared work, alongside understanding and acceptance, I find it important to establish clear and practical directions for progress, and to ensure that the process provides genuine support and guidance in everyday life.
Areas in which I can help:
- rethinking family roles and boundaries
- difficulties in the parent-child relationship
- recurring family patterns that clients would like to change
- relationship questions and conflicts
- infidelity and relationship crises
- life-cycle transitions (e.g. the birth of a child, adolescence, etc.)
- communication and conflict management
- self-awareness and self-esteem
